Reporting on social media campaigns seems to get harder every day, with multiple platforms, ads, and clients to cover. So, we customised SWYDO for our own bespoke needs, allowing us to create custom social media reports exactly as we – or our clients – wanted to see them.

The challenge of social media reporting 

With reporting, there are two different ways of sorting and seeing your data: Spreadsheets and Dashboards.

For spreadsheets, you have to export your data from your chosen social media platform, clean it up, and make it presentable in a client-friendly presentation deck or PDF.

While it gives you full control and freedom over data shown, it’s a time-consuming, manual process with room for human error.

For dashboards, this is usually a platform that allows you to integrate data from a social media platform in a more approachable format.

While this saves time with automation across multi-channel data, there’s a lack of control and comes with additional costs.

The best of both worlds? SWYDO.

By setting up and integrating SWYDO into our paid social team, we built our own path to cost-effective, custom social media reports.

Not only did our paid social team start creating custom social reports, but Connected Vet – our partner veterinary clinic group – also began using it for their Mailchimp email marketing reports.

Next up... Integrating SWYDO into Meta reports, PPC reports, and perhaps even combining Meta and Google Analytics into one collection of actionable insights.
