Storyman: New website design

We loved collaborating with Storyman on their atmospheric, modern website, lighting the match for “Stories that ignite souls.” In 2025, we returned to our masterpiece to refine the website design and boost SEO.

Brief
Until 2020, Storyman experienced strong growth year-on-year. However, COVID benched the business for a while, given that a lot of their work was event-based, and since then, they had been in ‘survival mode’.
In 2024, they were ready to get back on the pitch after a good year; it was time to look at how the business could progress and what role the website would play in this next step.
At this time, we created a brand-new Storyman website, helping this video production company show the power of stories to global brands.
Once the dust had settled, it was time to refine. This was not a rebrand or a redesign – it was a chance to solidify Storyman’s identity and place in the digital world.

Approach
Our approach centred on telling a different story using the same book — refining existing elements to create a fresh, modern perspective while maintaining the brand’s essence.
We began with a discovery session, working closely with the Storyman team to understand their vision and objectives.
We conducted research and visual testing using AI to quickly iterate mood boards, exploring ways to evolve their identity without losing brand familiarity.
Our work included a subtle logo update which was focused on small, meaningful refinements: a new typeface for a more contemporary feel and a sleek ‘play’ icon that enhances the logo and serves as a versatile branding device across digital and motion applications.
With the brand’s foundation strengthened further, we moved into web design, prioritising a clean and streamlined experience – including enhanced digital accessibility to optimise the brand’s colours across web.
Built on the existing Brew.web platform, the updated design is easy to manage and ensures a long lifespan with ongoing updates to keep both their website – and their stories – at the cutting edge of digital marketing.

Solution
The challenge of this website design project was to transform without replacing — reworking familiar elements with minimal change, but maximum impact.
The result is a refined, future-proofed identity that showcases the company’s expertise in visual storytelling while feeling fresh and relevant.
And, under it all, a website that’s effective and speedy across desktop and mobile, with SEO-optimised content that will keep Storyman on the podium when it comes to ranking on search. These are stories worth finding.
